A changing world

I intended for this blog to be a place for me to share pics of random things around the city that I live in. I intended to start doing this in January. It's now June, and I haven't done anything of this sort. In fact, I had even forgotten that I had set up this blog.

The truth is I have always wanted to be a blogger, but have always struggled with what it is that I want to blog about. When I was in Japan, I had plenty to write about. But now, living back in a country that is familiar to me, where everything seems to be "normal", I find myself struggling to write something worthy of reading. I thought taking photos of new and fresh things that I stumble across would be an easy road in. Obviously I was wrong. However I do want to start getting into this again. I will do my best. I promise.

The fact that I'm not a real Sydneysider - I'm a country boy, born and bred out west of the mountains - should mean that I find something interesting to write about each and every day. And now that I have written the first post - a commitment to this blog - I need to find my voice.
